This box is made in the Veronese style...
"Paolo Veronese (1528 – April 19, 1588) was an Italian painter of the Renaissance in Venice, famous for paintings such as The Wedding at Cana and The Feast in the House of Levi. He adopted the name Paolo Cagliari and became known as "Veronese" from his birthplace in Verona.' Wikipedia.
Let me say firstly this box is resin. Upon delivery I thought it was bronze. It is such a beautiful piece. Made with extra attention to detail this keepsake box is something special. In the shape of a heart and fully lined it is approx 12cmx 12cm x5cm. The top is decorated with the head, torso and wings of a serene angel. Both a beautiful and unusual piece.
